​Sekinchan  Land of Fertility

( 2015-2016 )
My 5th. solo exhibition in 2016: a visual journal of paddy field in Sekinchan, in this series the focus is on the varied transformation of the field during the harvest time. The representational trace on the paddy field was distinctly create by the giant harvesting machine, those marks they are so unique and full of rhythm, they are like a mystical contour drawn on earth and it can stretch very far away towards the varnishing point. During the busy harvesting season, the yellow giant harvesting machines are everywhere in the field, traces they’ve make are all over in the field and in every roads they passed, at sight it’s like a calligraphy that done with intention. While the process of harvesting, there’re these typical frame of the scene, rows of excavated soil laying nakedly in mass, then in certain part of the undone field with greenly look and this create an interesting contrast, a clear description about life’s cycle of a paddy. ​​
